Cleary Millwork is excited to announce an agreement with Saginaw Millwork to hire many of their employees, sublease space in Guilderland and purchase certain assets from them. Saginaw Lumber will continue as a separate company owned by Greg Tuttle. Greg will spend the majority of his time on the lumber side of his business, but will help Cleary's efforts during the millwork transition.

Cleary's plan is to merge the millwork companies effective Monday, March 1, 2010 under the name Cleary Millwork. This combination is a natural consolidation as both companies share many of the same key vendors. The value that Cleary brings to the Saginaw customers is a wider and more extensive product offering from these vendors as well as full custom manufacturing capabilities for custom doors, mouldings, stairs and stairparts.

Over the next few weeks Cleary Millwork and Saginaw Millwork will be developing a transition plan and reaching out to customers to explain the many benefits of this change. Both companies are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible and look forward to becoming both a stronger and a long-term supplier to the lumber
and millwork dealers throughout New England and New York.
